Classroom Rules
I have three rules/guidelines in my class that most of the above expectations can fall under:
1. Help yourself learn.
2. Help others learn.
3. Help the teacher teach.

School Wide Expectations
These expectations can also be found in our student handbook.
Student Job Description (p. 5)
1. Report to class on time and attend daily.
2. Be prepared for learning by bringing student planner and learning materials to class.
3. Participate in the learning activities as directed by the teachers and adults. (Examples: Ask questions, respond to questions, read and think about the content, involve self in group activities).
4. Complete and turn in work on time.
5. Treat all others with respect and dignity.
6. Follow the classroom, school, and district rules and policies.
7. Follow adult direction from school district employees.
8. Be responsible for your behaviors and understand there are rewards for acceptable behavior and consequences for unacceptable behaviors.
9. Exhibit pride in self, others, school, and community with appropriate behavior, vocabulary, and dress.
Backpacks: "Backpacks are not allowed in many classrooms as they create a tripping hazard" .
Homework: "Students are responsible to make-up their work when absent. You have two days to make up work for each day you are absent".

Missing Work in Mrs. Albert's Class-SEe #4 above
Late work = -10% for every day late.
Excused Absences will have 2 days for each day absent to make up any missed work.
It is the student's responsibility to make an appointment if needed to review missing work.
Work due on the day the student was absent is due upon his or her return to class.
Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis.
Late work can also affect class participation--without the assigned work, a student may not be able to participate in planned lessons that day. Studens will have a Participation Grade in Skyward based on On-Time work.
